He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.  Ephesians 2:17

Having a peaceful heart that is full of joy is no small thing.  The world is full of people who are bitter, hateful, nasty and despicable.  There are also many whose hearts are a waste land, devoid of any godly influence or any semblance of peace.  You may know some of them yourselves, I know I do, but I try not to focus on that.  I would much rather spend my time praising God for the many blessings, and the blessed individuals I rub elbows with in this world, than cursing the darkness. My ultimate joy, of course, is having Jesus in my life. For that blessing I will eternally be grateful to God.

Question:  Have you experienced peace with God in your life?

Good and bad times will come and go for all of us here.

Sickness will strike and healings will come.

Divorces will break families apart and weddings will bring families together.

Children will be harmed (sad, but true), yet each day a new miracle is born into this mixed up, crazy world, as well.

This is the ebb and flow of human life.

God allows the pain, but He also provides the blessings–Praise be His Name!  In all of this, we are victorious, for our faith is set on Jesus Christ, crucified and risen again.  He is the consummate Peace Maker, and the reason why we can have peace amid the storm.

He centers us.

He support us.

He guides, and protects, and goes with us; through the good times and the bad.

He is our Peace.

I pray you might know him today, and if not, that you will find him soon.  Finding Jesus means finding peace that lasts–peace EVER lasting!  Peace with God.

Pray for it today.
