O LORD, do save, we beseech You; O LORD, we beseech You, do send prosperity! Psalm 118:25 NASB
Salvation now, God. Salvation now!
Oh yes, God—a free and full life! Psalm 118:29 The Message
It’s funny how the same passage in the Bible can sound so different, depending on the translators who worked to transcribe it. Today’s prayer prompt is a perfect example. What in the world does “beseech” mean, anyway? Just kidding. I know what it means, but I much prefer the passionate cry: Salvation now!
That says it all, doesn’t it?
Salvation is important!
Prayer is important!
Relationship is important!
A free and full life is ours only if we have a relationship with our Creator. If we don’t, we may be free but we will never be full.
Today, if you’ve been contemplating your interest in the Lord, I encourage you to fan that flame for all it’s worth. Nothing is more important than getting right the relationship you have with God. Fullness of life, eternal life, comes when Jesus knows you–or more importantly, when you know Jesus, really knowing Him; like under-the-blood know Him.
Abundant life is waiting for all who trust in Christ.
