Last week I had some goals that included eating right and exercising. I also made it my goal to read something positive with a bent toward recovery, but that didn’t go so well. It has been a busy, busy week with lots of challenges, so that I have barely had time to do what was necessary, let alone what was not.
That’s not to say I don’t take my three goals each week seriously.
I do, but first things first, and first on my list each day is to do those things that drop in my lap or scream for my attention. You know what I mean. You have them too.
I feel good about the things I accomplished this week.
I ate my oatmeal five out of seven days. My body loves this stuff.
I exercised for five minutes at the start of each day, save today. My body has hurt alot this week, so I decided I was going to lay off for today. I’m not sure what is going on physically, but I will find out. One of my goals this week is to find out–so I will!
My Three Goals for this week are all about making healthy choices:
- Continue to eat right and exercise, which means oatmeal for breakfast and five minutes of exercise first thing each day.
2. Make an appointment with my current PCP or find another.
3. Get labs done by end of week.
What goals do you have for yourself these days? Do you write them down and give yourself a specific time frame for accomplishing them?
